Belk plans charity sale on Nov. 10

Belk’s Charity Sale on Nov. 10 will benefit local charities, schools and non-profit organizations.

In return for a $5 donation, customers receive a ticket admitting them to the sale featuring discounts of 20 to 50 percent on store merchandise from 6 until 10 a.m. Cosmetics and fragrances are excluded from the discounts. Customers also receive $5 off their first purchase worth $5 or more. Belk card holders receive double points for card purchases.

Tickets will be available beginning Nov. 4. Belk also will give away four shopping sprees, and participating schools and charities are registered to win $1,000 donation.
