Shiloh Baptist Judgment House

Shiloh Baptist Church is sponsoring its 15th annual Judgment House on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from 6-10 p.m. each night.

Admission is free, but donations will be accepted.

The theme this year is “Life As We Know It Can Change, For Better or For Worse.”

The presentation takes about 50 minutes.

The church is in Somerville, on Alabama 36.

Fish fry to benefit KALB on Monday

ATHENS — Just say, “Mmm mmm good.”

For $9 you can fill a plate with catfish, shrimp, chicken strips, french fries, cole slaw and hushpuppies at the Swamp John’s Fish Fry.

Proceeds will benefit Keep Athens-Limestone Beautiful.

“No one goes away hungry,” said Lynne Hart, executive coordinator for KALB.

The fish fry will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the Beasley Center at Marion and Bryan streets.

You can eat in or carry out.

Tea and desserts, while they last, are included.

Tickets are available through KALB and can be purchased by calling 233-8728 or can be bought at the door.
