Woman’s remains found days after mobile home fire

MOBILE (AP) — Authorities found the charred remains of a woman in rubble five days after a fire destroyed a mobile home in west Mobile County.

The body was found Saturday evening underneath a pile of rubble, said Kate Johnson, a spokeswoman for the Mobile County sheriff’s office.

An autopsy to determine the cause of death is planned before the woman’s name is released.
