Athens investigates damage to vehicles

ATHENS — Athens police are investigating who used bottled drinks to damage various vehicles in the city.

There are reports that someone threw bottles from his or her vehicle Sunday. Police received damage reports from Elm Street, U.S. 72, Hine Street and West Market Street, said Lt. Floyd Johnson.

Damages included broken windows, dents and broken headlights.
