Pine Hill Day Camp offers memorabilia

The Pine Hill Day Camp announced a Pick-up Memorabilia Day for Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.

Campers and staff may claim camp items, ranging from totems and T-shirts to posters and photo albums.

Frank and Carolyn Price, Pine Hill's owners, announced the closure of the day camp earlier this year after 31 summers of operation.

The event will occur at 113 Pine Hill Drive in Somerville off Alabama 67.

Directions are on Pine Hill's Web site at www.pinehilldaycamp.com.

Pine Hill will host an additional event Dec. 1 at 10 a.m. to auction off land and camp equipment.

Those interested in purchasing the land before the auction can contact Amerisouth Auctions at 353-7525.
