Toy, coat and can drive for holidays

First Cash Express will be sponsoring a toy, coat and canned food drive to help the needy during the holidays.

Donations will benefit Lexi House and Neighborhood Christian Centers of Alabama, said Melisha Kenney, an organizer.

The drive will take place Nov. 1 through Dec. 15.

“We’ve got 20 drop boxes going out over Decatur and Hartselle,” said Kenney. “First Cash Express will be the main drop-off location.”

First Cash Express is next to the post office on Beltine Road Southwest.

Any kind of winter clothes, new or gently used toys and nonperishable food will be accepted, Kenney said.
