4 charged with drug trafficking

Narcotics agents arrested four people on charges of trafficking in drugs after finding 40 grams of crack cocaine during a raid on an apartment, Decatur police said Friday.
Members of the police Organized Crime and Anti-Crime units also seized ecstasy, marijuana and drug paraphernalia during Thursday’s search at 1805-C Graymont Lane S.W., police said.
Police arrested each of the following on charges of trafficking in cocaine, possession of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia:
Raynard Anthony May, 41, of 1805-C Graymont Lane S.W.
Charles William Jones, 30, of 1008 Hillwood Drive S.W.
Jermaine Adair Collier, 25, of 408 Eighth Ave. N.W.
William Vernaris Fennell II, 29, of 807 Sycamore St. N.W.
Morgan County jail released Collier on Friday on $4,250 bond; the others remained jailed in lieu of $4,250 bond each.
Police also arrested Roy Lee Thomas, 39, of 1806 Graymont Lane S.W., Apartment 2, on charges of possessing a controlled substance, possessing drug paraphernalia and loitering in a drug house.
Thomas remained in Morgan County Jail on Friday in lieu of $1,750 bond.
