Walking away from a collision with a giant

Decatur paramedic Brent Fincher helps driver Marie Taylor to a stretcher following a wreck with a tractor-trailer on Sixth Avenue Southeast at Eighth Street at about 10:45 a.m. Monday.

Firefighters said an ambulance took Taylor to Decatur General Hospital. No one else was injured.

The tractor-trailer involved in the wreck was hauling a dump truck.
