Cast Products employee accused of theft

ATHENS — Athens Police arrested and charged a Cast Products employee Tuesday with stealing metal parts and selling them for recycling.

According to a police report, investigators charged Randall Wade Chambers, 22, of 17717 Nuclear Plant Road with first-degree theft of property. The report said Chambers allegedly stole cast metal parts, valued at $1,340, and a siren box pattern valued at $2,910.

The suspect was transferred to Limestone County Jail, where bail is $5,000.
