Relay for Life meeting Thursday
Relay for Life for Decatur will meet Thursday to start organizing teams for the 2008 event and recognize the achievements of last yearís goal-surpassing campaign for the American Cancer Society.
The meeting is open to anyone seeking more information about how to build a fundraising team or improve his teamís fundraising skills. It also will tell how people can volunteer without being on a team.
Last yearís campaign surpassed its $203,500 goal, and Nucor became the first team in Alabama to raise more than $50,000.
The meeting will occur in the Camp Bluebird Room at Decatur General Hospital at 5:30 p.m. For more information, call Beth Tutwiler at 318-0590.

Operation Santa Claus seeks help

Buy a gift or make a donation of any amount. Call the MHA office for suggested items. All gifts need to be new, unwrapped and delivered to the MHA office at 207 Commerce Circle S.W. by Dec. 6.
