Police arrest 3 men linked to burglaries

HARTSELLE — Police arrested three men who police say broke into vehicles in the Autumnwood Drive area last week.

Hartselle police received a call about the auto burglaries from a citizen at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, but the suspects fled when police arrived, said investigator Alan McDearmond.

Police later arrested Zachary Travis Garrison, 20, of 3172 George Russell Road, Danville, and charged him with breaking and entering a vehicle.

McDearmond said investigators developed Christopher Ryan McCulloch, 18, of 73 North Greenway Drive, Trinity, and Cody Wayne Collins, 19, of 127 Nelms Road, Decatur, as additional suspects.

Police charged each with one count of breaking and entering a vehicle.

Additional charges are pending, McDearmond said.

As of Saturday night, the Morgan County Jail was holding Garrison and McCulloch, each in lieu of $750 bond. Collins was released Friday on $750 bond.
