7 arrested at alleged drug houses

ATHENS — Drug investigators nabbed seven people at known drug houses on Saturday, according to an investigator.

Athens drug investigator Johnny Morell said the Limestone-Athens Drug Unit received complaints about drug activity at homes on McClung Lane in Athens.

Investigators served search warrants Saturday at 24676 McClung Lane and 24691 McClung Lane. Morell said they recovered one-fourth pound of marijuana at 24676 McClung Lane, and Lorcet pills from one woman.

The seven arrested, their charges and bond amounts are as follows:

  • Mollie Maria Alred, 20, of 23306 Zion Church Lane, Tanner, first-degree illegal possession of marijuana, $5,000.

  • Tameka Rhea Farris, 24, of 24676 McClung Lane, first-degree illegal possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance for allegedly having Lorcet, $10,000.

  • Elljah Jack Harris Jr., 51, 24676 McClung Lane, first-degree illegal possession of marijuana, $5,000.

  • William Henry Jackson III, 23, of 8855 Beulah Bay Road, Tanner, first-degree illegal possession of marijuana, $5,000.

  • Jeremy Germaine Lassie, 23, of 21741 Compton Road, Athens, first-degree illegal possession of marijuana, $5,000.

  • Justin Keith McClung, 21, of 24691 McClung Lane, Athens, first-degree illegal possession of marijuana, $5,000.

  • Julius Lee Redus, 27, of 100 E. Sanderfer Road, Athens, first-degree illegal possession of marijuana, $5,000.
