Fighting for the Armory

Rebel troops prepare to make a charge during the Battle for the Armory, held just outside Tallassee, on Sunday. The 10th annual Civil War re-enactment was sponsored by the Tallassee Armory Guards.

Proceeds will be used in the preservation of the Tallassee Armory, the last standing Confederate armory in the South.
