TRINITY — Trinity Town Council on Monday: Approved $26,257 to Alabama Municipal Insurance Corp. for annual liability insurance premium. Approved hiring patrolman Don Carr full-time at $13.63 per hour. Approved $1,850 for officers' uniforms. Approved $681.80 to Lindon Allen Body Shop to paint patrol car. Approved $731.12 to the Decatur/Morgan County Landfill. Approved $310.66 to Big Al's Grocery for overpayment of September sales tax. Approved $21 to McConnell Sales and Engineering Corp. of Birmingham for overpayment of September sales tax. Approved $96.97 to First Colony Life Insurance Co. of Richmond, Va., for overpayment of business license. Approved $75 dues to the Alabama Municipal Court Clerks and Magistrates Association for Town Clerk Barbara Jones and Magistrate Shannon Gaston.
