MOULTON —Three people were arrested during a raid at Bullhead Salvage on Alabama 157.

Lawrence County Sheriff Gene Mitchell said investigators had been watching the business, located about a mile north of Alabama 33, for a while after receiving numerous complaints of possible drug activity.

Mitchell said sheriff's investigators, the Moulton Police Department and the Lawrence County Drug Task Force executed a drug search warrant at about 4 p.m. Thursday and found Valium, Lortab and other prescription medications.

They arrested Jerry O'Neal Hutto, 58, of 55 N. Greenway Drive, Trinity, and charged him with two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a prescription drug without a prescription.

They charged Ulysses Quindle Terry, 66, of 15130 Alabama 157, Moulton, with possession of an altered firearm.

Terry and Hutto are co-owners of the salvage business.

Mitchell said the Moulton Police Chief Lyndon McWhorter arrested Virginia Ann Flannigan, 41, of 935 Lawrence County 148, after searching her and finding what appeared to be hydrocodone. He charged her with possession of a controlled substance.

All three bonded out of Lawrence County Jail on Friday. Hutto's bond is $10,500, Terry's is $10,000 and Flannigan's is $5,000.
