Hartselle school board right to support principal

The Hartselle school board took a complaint from a high school custodian and asked for an Ethics Commission investigation.

Two years after the complaint, the board says it is satisfied with the commission's finding that the matter justifies no investigation.

With that, members appropriately told Principal Jerry Reeves they support his work and appreciate the way he handled the matter.

That's the correct way to end the flap and should quench any further attempts to keep the matter alive.
