Americans should stop buying Chinese goods
Parents with children who play with toys made in China have a formidable task in deciding if the imports are safe.
One solution is to assume that they are a danger and not buy them. Lead in paint, magnets that children can ingest, Aqua Dots... What’s next?
Not knowing what will be in the next recall is the biggest problem with buying China-made toys.
A chemical in the compound that creates glue in wet Aqua Dots is a powerful date rape drug. When eaten, the compound can induce unconsciousness, seizures, drowsiness, coma and death.
Because it produces cut-rate goods for multinational companies, China is now the No. 1 exporter to the United States.
China inundates the United States with cheap imports of all kinds. Many of the food imports are not fit for human consumption, yet they continue to pour into this country.
The government won’t put an end to the poisoning of America because of business and political ramifications. But the American consumer can.
We can stop buying goods made in China, not in retaliation but because they are dangerous, unhealthy and poorly made.
