LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

Probe turns county into a laughingstock

To The Daily: I’m writing in regard to the amount of coverage that you write about in The Daily about our Morgan County Commission, and Stacy George, in particular. I don’t know this young man personally, and I don’t think I would care to.

Do you not realize he has single-handedly turned our county into the laughingstock of Alabama? Every time you put his picture and comments in your paper, you are feeding his ego (which must be about to explode).

The problems that he continually involves himself in are legitimate, and need to be addressed and dealt with, but do you not have someone (internal affairs) who can deal with these things, in house, and not splatter them all over the public news? I can’t help but wonder, when he takes this as far as it will go, what will he move on to next? I’m so sick of it that I’m ready to cancel my subscription to your paper, which I’ve enjoyed reading for many years.

Too much time on his hands?

To The Daily: Someone needs to find County Commissioner Stacy George something else to do besides stirring up torment and turmoil.

How does he have as much time as he spends digging into others’ business? Doesn’t he have a full time job with Morgan County? Is this not considered waste of taxpayers’ monies?

Amanda Scott is a foxy lady

To The Daily: Isn’t Amanda Scott’s handling the investigation of her own hard drive like the fox guarding the hen house?

Further waste of taxpayer money. Of course this is what government specializes in: waste.
