Improvements to park pleasant, commendable

To The Daily: Anyone who has not recently driven by or walked through Delano Park in the Albany Historic District should do so right away. The park continues to evolve as a place of beauty and care.

Those individuals who have spearheaded the park’s renovation are to be commended for their hard work, vision and good taste. And those entities that have helped fund this renaissance are likewise worthy of praise.

Delano Park is now a pleasant showplace and peaceful retreat for Decatur citizens, visitors and potential residents.

Hooray for such gifted civic mindedness.
