Chocolate Festival at Colonial Mall a success

To The Daily: Congratulations to the ARC and Colonial Mall for an outstanding Chocolate Festival on Feb. 11. The displays and entertainment were both delicious and well done. Many people put in long hours of preparation and presentation and their efforts were well worth it.

More than anything else, however, I would like to compliment the Decatur and Morgan County community for what was obviously sincere and heartfelt interaction with the special citizens of our area. We see some of these folks around town from time to time and we’ve come to recognize them and gladly accept their contributions to our area. It was wonderful to see the stage entertainment fellowship with them in such a natural and welcoming manner, as well as the audience and folks walking through the mall.

ARC so well represents these special citizens, as does Colonial Mall, but our citizens are to be commended for so many loving gestures.

The Rev. Keith Andrews
Decatur
