Close border, send illegals back where they came from
To The Daily: First things first. They are illegal aliens, not illegal immigrants. Know the difference. It’s not America’s fault they were born in Mexico, Guatemala, or any other Third World country. If they desire to come to this country legally, no problem. However, we speak English here and they should also.
I’m sick and tired of people who want to harbor illegals, employ illegals and defend their stance on how and why they came here. The economic impact of illegal aliens covers a wide spectrum, including the costs for the collateral impact of crime, traffic accidents, education, health care, and this country’s infrastructure. Mexico is not a country without resources. Its natural resources are among the richest in the world. The main reason for all the poverty is the corrupt government of Mexico.
Between $6 billion and $8 billion are sent to families every year in Mexico. The government should charge businesses such as Western Union an extra fee or penalty that would be remitted back to this country’s general fund, to offset the rising costs of the American taxpayer. Any business that employs illegal aliens should pay a fine of $10,000 per individual and lose its license for six months on a first offense. Second offense, double the fine, and permanent loss of business license. Municipalities need to grow some backbone to address the businesses that employ illegals. Skirting the issue only shows their incompetence or laziness.
Don’t tell me it’s financially impossible to send the illegal aliens back. The future rising cost of the taxpayer for not sending them back, along with their diseases and crimes, outweighs any of the arguments for giving them amnesty. Create a database for the “legal” immigrants, close the borders, build the wall, load the buses and send the “illegal aliens” back. It’s the logical option.
