Sessions impresses Florida observer

To The Daily: Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions is a rare example of integrity, courage, intelligence and loyalty to country.

Citizens around the country rely on him to express our views, as the majority of us have no representation in the U.S. Senate. Our senators represent foreign lobbyists, greedy corporations, illegal invaders and a variety of nut cases.

I have no knowledge of Alabama politics and I have never met Sen. Sessions. Many things I do not know.

However, I can certainly recognize quality when it appears on my TV.

Sen. Sessions is top quality.

Focus on wildlife artist deserved

To The Daily: I’m so happy to see this article about Martiena Richter (Oct. 17). I’ve known this lady for about 30 years. When I first met her, her daily job was in an office, but her beloved scratchboard was her hobby.

She has developed her God-given talent into a fine-tuned treasure and has been producing wildlife masterpieces all along the way. She just gets better with the passing years. She is a true artist.
