LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Ghosts, ESP, yes; but Hillary Clinton?
To The Daily: There was an article in the Oct. 26 paper, stating that one-third of Americans believe in ghosts, spells or witchcraft, ESP and UFOs.
One might think that was weird but what is really weird is that apparently as many believe in Hillary Clinton. Not only is that weird but it is very scary.

Daily wildfire cartoon was not amusing
To The Daily: Don’t you people ever stop to think?
My son and his family live in San Diego. They’d been packed up to evacuate all week. Fortunately, they haven’t had to, but plenty of their friends have been burned out.
I don’t see any humor in your cartoon at the expense of my feelings. I’ll bet there are others in your readership who have relatives here.
I can put up with personal differences. You own the paper and the ink. But you ought to realize other people have feelings.

Is it The Decatur Daily or the Athens Daily?
To The Daily: Ever since The Decatur Daily went to morning delivery, our news is a day late. Also the news is always more about Athens than Decatur.
Read the Area News in Brief and area thefts in the Oct. 23 paper — nothing but Athens! On the Oct. 22 front page, Athens! It’s about Athens everyday! So, is it The Decatur Daily or The Athens Daily?
I don’t know about other readers but personally I would like to read about what is going on in Decatur. The only reason I still subscribe is to read the obituaries and classifieds.
