Squire Parsons Trio, Danville Baptist Church, Jan. 21, 10 a.m. Parsons wrote “Sweet Beulah Land,” “Hello Mama” and many other well-known Southern gospel songs. He has been a guest soloist at Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Va., with the Rev. Jerry Falwell and at many other congregations, and has appeared on “Gaither Homecoming” videos.
