ALBUM RELEASE — Kenn Orr is releasing a new album, “I’ll Be Tha One” with a party at Maria Bonita Grill and Cantina in downtown Decatur, June 5, 7 to 9 p.m.

The album of mostly original music includes a song getting radio play, “Jesus You,” said Marquita Diggs of KOOS Records.

Orr’s music is available at itunes.com, cdbaby.com, Talk of the Town in Decatur and other venues.

NEW DIRECTOR — Linda Buchanan is the new executive director of Pregnancy Resource Center/Sav-A-Life Tennessee Valley.

A native of Richardson, Texas, she moved to Decatur in 1995 with her husband, John.

She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and has worked at the Volunteer Center of Morgan County as a certified mediator and at Sanmina-SCI in Huntsville as an administrator.

She previously worked for another pregnancy resource center in Texas and volunteered at the Decatur center.

Buchanan has two children and two grandchildren.

She replaces Kitty Lindberg, who retired in December.
