Special services at King's Memorial UMC

King's Memorial United Methodist Church presents its Summer Renewal and Order My Steps Conference next week. It begins Sunday at 4 p.m. and continues Monday through Thursday at 6:30 p.m., Friday at 6 p.m.; and 7:15 a.m. and noon July 21.

Sunday's speaker is the Rev. Dr. Elston McLain, pastor at Center Grove UMC in Huntsville, and the Center Grove Choir will provide special music.

The Rev. Rod Stallworth of St. Paul UMC in Stevenson is Monday's speaker. The Rev. Raphael Gray of Village View UMC in Athens will preach Tuesday, and the King's Memorial youth group will lead worship services Wednesday. The church will celebrate Holy Communion on Thursday and hold a covered dish supper and youth conference Friday. A continental breakfast will be Saturday morning, and the conference will conclude with a pizza lunch at noon.
