NEW ON STAFF — Becky Alexander is the new preschool and children’s minister at Autumnwood Baptist Church. A native of Middletown, Ohio, she moved to Decatur in 1986. She was most recently associate minister and family pastor at Highland Hills Baptist Church in Fort Thomas, Ky. She previously served from 1991 to 2001 at Autumnwood as minister of children.

Alexander also has served at Cullman First Baptist Church and at Faith Baptist Church in Moulton. She has written articles and curriculum for numerous Christian publications, including LifeWay’s “Parent Life” and “Bible Searchers.”

Alexander is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She and her husband, Tim, have two children, Cassie, 17, and Isaac, 13.

NEW ON STAFF — Rick Eichelberger is the new outreach minister of Beltline Church of Christ.

He is a native of Huntsville and graduated from the University of North Alabama. He served as youth minister at Baker Heights Church in Abilene, Texas. That congregation sent him to start a church in Plattsburgh, N.Y., and later to serve in Trinidad, Colo., where was pulpit minister. He began work July 2.

ORDAINED — Decatur native the Rev. Regina Hall was ordained as an elder June 10 by the United Methodist Tennessee Conference. She is pastor of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church in Clarksville, Tenn., and is the daughter of George and Jo Hall.
