Holocaust survivor featured speaker at video conference

A live videoconference at Calhoun Community College will feature Holocaust survivor Gerda Weissmann Klein. The “One Survivor Remembers” program will be Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Decatur campus in the Health Sciences Building.

In 1945 when she was liberated, Gerda Weissmann weighed 68 pounds and had not had a bath in three years. She barely survived a 350-mile death march. She has spoken widely about her experience and was presented an Oscar for a documentary based on her life.

For more information, call Jane Davis at 306-2762.
