The Hartselle Dixie Youth Baseball program is having signups Jan. 30, Feb. 6, Feb. 13 and Feb. 20 at Encore in Hartselle.

The Limestone County Baseball Umpire Association will meet Sunday to distribute rule books and discuss the state test, which will be administered Jan. 21.
The meeting is set for 1 p.m. at Tanner High School library.

East Lawrence High baseball coach Rob Cosby will direct a regional program for the Midwest Baseball Academy spring training.
The six-week program in Caddo will run from Jan. 27 to March 3 at East Lawrence High.
The player-coach ratio is six to one, and instruction will include drills to teach a different aspect of hitting, pitching and fielding.

The inaugural Hartselle Youth Basketball Tournament will be Feb. 9-10 at the Sparkman Civic Center.
Competition is for boys and girls age divisions 8-under, 10-under and 12-under.
