11 players score for Hartselle in victory
Tanner Rattlers undefeated
in last 8 games

Hartselle High's boys basketball team used a balanced scoring attack in a 65-47 win over West Point on Tuesday night.

The Tigers got at least two points from 11 different players. Jackson Holmes led the way with 13 points, while Tyler Young and Victor Stansberry each had 12.

For West Point, Jake Hendon scored 12 points.

Tanner 80, Falkville 71: Ranked 10th in Class 2A, the Rattlers increased their win streak to eight straight.

Richard Nasseri scored 23 points, while Demarcus King added 16. Latraius Mosley pitched in 13, and Rod Byrd had 12.

Heath Alford's 24 points paced Falkville, and Thomas Holt and Justin Blanchard each scored 15. Joe Lacy added 10 points.

Decatur Heritage 70, Athens Bible 48: Nik Butz's 15 points and seven rebounds led seventh-ranked Decatur Heritage (14-8, 5-1 in 1A, Area 15).

Zach Woodruff added 12 points, and De'el Watkins pitched in 10 points. Jordan Lee and Brandon Little each had five rebounds.

Luke Adams had nine points, four rebounds, four assists and four steals, and Bo Godwin turned in seven points, three rebounds, six assists and four steals.

For Athens Bible, Jeremy Couey had 22 points, and Will Stinnett scored 12.

Ardmore 71, East Limestone 65: Matthew Clem paced Ardmore (15-6) with 35 points, and Duron Robinson pitched in 12.

For East Limestone, Mario Matthews had 19 points, and LaCorey McDonald added 12. Dresden Williams scored 10.

Lawrence County 89, R.A. Hubbard 83: Myles King shot 100 percent from the field and had 26 points, four rebounds and three steals for Lawrence County (16-6).

Matthew Pugh scored 21 points, grabbed six rebounds and was 10-of-11 from the free throw line.

Cody Harville had 11 points, five rebounds and eight blocked shots, and Durman Cunningham had 10 points and five rebounds.

Quinn McGhee's 22 points and 10 rebounds paced the Chiefs, while Darius Grant added 15 points. Willie Sheppard scored 12 points, and Xavier Hampton added 10.

Speake 63, St. Bernard 50: Jacob Moody scored 23 points and blocked 11 shots for Speake (14-5)

Javaris Stover added 14 points and 12 rebounds, and Juarez Fitzgerald had 12 points and five assists.

Luke Wasilewski scored 12 points to lead St. Bernard.

Cornerstone Christian 53, Florence Christian 44: Avenging a loss from earlier in the season, Cornerstone Christian (12-1) got 17 points and 11 rebounds from Jason Clark.

Brett Stowe added 15 points, and Matt Pettit had 15 points and six steals.
