Noteworthy: South Carolina’s two SEC wins have come against Western Division schools. The Gamecocks have beaten Arkansas (66-60) and Mississippi State (66-63). ... Auburn leads the series 16-11. ... The visiting team has won the past four in this series. ... South Carolina’s Tre Kelley is third in the SEC in scoring. “I know he is one of the best offensive threats on their team,” Auburn guard Quantez Robertson said. “He has been averaging close to 20 points in the SEC. It is going to be a tough test for our guards and me to keep him from getting his average.” ... A win would be Auburn’s fifth straight in Columbia. ... A win would give Auburn four in the league, matching last season’s total with eight conference games to go.
