Speake's Moody surpasses 1,000-point mark for career in win

Speake's Jacob Moody turned in 16 points and eight rebounds and set a career milestone Tuesday in a 76-55 win over Athens Bible.

Moody passed the 1,000-point mark for his career. His total is up to 1,009 points.

K.C. Orr paced Speake (17-6) with 19 points, and Juarez Fitzgerald had 15 points, six assists and three steals. Javaris Stover scored nine points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

For Athens Bible, Ryan Mooring had 18 points, and A.J. Price pitched in 10.

Ardmore 55, Priceville 51: Matthew Clem had 20 points to pace Ardmore (16-8), and Landon Curtis contributed 12.

For Priceville, Robert Varner scored 16 points.

Cullman 62, Lawrence County 58: Myles King had 17 points and seven rebounds to pace Lawrence County, which led 28-21 at halftime but couldn't hold the advantage.Matthew Pugh added 10 points.

Deshler 54, R.A. Hubbard 42: Mykmyk Ingram had 15 points and five rebounds to lead R.A. Hubbard, and Quinn McGhee contributed 14 points and 11 rebounds. Devans Orr pulled down 10 rebounds. Xavier Hampton passed out five assists.

West Point 68, Addison 52: Addison's Dennis Stewart had 17 points and eight rebounds, and Colton Allston had 15 points and 12 rebounds.
