West Morgan High's boys basketball team survived a big night by Priceville's Josh Bedwell to score a road win Tuesday night.

West Morgan won 73-60 as the Bulldogs got 41 points from
Bedwell, who nailed nine 3-pointers.

Phillip Powell led the Rebels (18-8) with 23 points and 16 rebounds. Grant Harbin added 13 points, and Micah Randolph contributed 10 points and five assists.

David Pritchard pulled down five rebounds.

Ardmore 61, Richland (Tenn.) 45: Ardmore closed out its regular season with its second win in as many days.

The Tigers beat Richland (Tenn.) on Tuesday after beating Clements on Monday.

Against Richland, Matthew Clem led with 16 points, with Jake Stagner, Landon Curtis and Duron Robinson each had eight.

For Richland, Peyton Newton had 13 points, and Jamar Garrett added 11.

Ardmore (18-9) will face East Limestone in the Class 4A, Area 14 tournament Friday at Madison County High.

Falkville 79, Vinemont 76: Heath Alford scored 34 points for Falkville (13-11) and made 19 of 22 free throws.

Joseph Lacy and Justin Blanchard each added 13 points.

For Vinemont, Steven Pollard had 30 points, and Zack South scored 20.

Girls

Priceville 68, West Morgan 49: The Lady Bulldogs won in their final regular-season home game of the season as Allison White led with 14 points.

Hatton 56, Danville 51: Kaitlyn Fleming scored 14 points and Paige Rutherford added 13 points and seven rebounds to pace Hatton's win.

Chloe Malone had nine points and nine rebounds for the Lady Hornets (15-11), and Emily Shelton passed out eight assists.

For Danville (16-12), Alaina Fitzgerald had 24 points, including 17 in the second half. Bethany Evans added 10 points and five steals.

Lauren Simmons pulled down nine rebounds.

Class 1A, Area 15

Athens Bible boys 80, Tharptown 34: Playing in the area tournament at Hazlewood High, Athens Bible advanced after getting at least four points from 10 different players.

Ryan Moorning led with 13 points, while Jeremy Couey and Will Stinnett each added 12. A.J. Price scored 10.

Manny Ricardo led Tharptown with 14 points.

Athens Bible will play Hazlewood on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Tharptown girls 53, Athens Bible 48: Kirsten McClure had 22 points but Athens Bible still fell in a first-round game at Hazlewood.

McClure now has 1,076 career points, which makes her the school's all-time leading girls scorer.

Lindsey McClure added 15 points.

Hollie Hines had 15 points to pace Tharptown, which will face area regular season champion Hazlewood on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in Town Creek.
