The Hartselle Dixie Youth Baseball program is having signups Tuesday and Feb. 20 at Encore in Hartselle

The Decatur Dixie Boys Baseball league is having signups Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Aquadome Recreation Center.

The Junior Achievement of North Central Alabama is hosting the Boot Scootín Bowl as a fundraiser for its education programs.
Bowlers will be asked to secure pledges in the competition.

The 10th annual Camp Partlow Duathlon is set for March 10 in Coker, northwest of Tuscaloosa.
The event consists of 2-mile trail run, a 17-mile road bike ride and ends with another 2-mile trail run.

The race begins at 8 a.m. with registration beginning at 6 a.m.
Proceeds from the duathlon will benefit Camp Partlow.

The Tennessee Valley Vipers inaugural Coach Tís Kids Golf Classic will take place April 6 at Sunset Landing at the Huntsville International Airport.
A portion of the eventís proceeds will benefit Coach Tís Kids, a Boys and Girls Club scholarship and community activity program founded by Vipers coach Milt Theodosatos.
The event has a 7 a.m. registration and 8 a.m. shotgun start, and will feature a four-man scramble format with a $275 fee per team and $75 charge for individuals. The price includes two mulligans per person, two drink coupons, a goody bag and lunch.
Hole sponsorships are $100 and prizes will be awarded for first, second and third places.
