Stallings to speak
at ABS fundraiser
Former Alabama football coach Gene Stallings will be speaking at a fundraiser for the Athens Bible School on April 23.
Dinner is served in the ABS gymnasium at 7 p.m.
Ticket prices are $100 per person or $500 for six at a table.
The proceeds will be used for school expansion.

About 40 teams are expected to compete in the third annual Decatur Storm Autism Awareness Tournament on April 20 through 22. Travel teams with players ages 9-13 will be competing at Wilson Morgan Park.
The tournament also offers plenty of family entertainment. Hot-air balloon rides, clowns, musical bands and face-painting will be part of the fun. Also more than 8,000 butterflies hand-made and painted by Decatur students and church groupos will be on display at the park.
Weekend passes for the tournament are $12 get you access to the main park all weekend including baseball games. A single day pass for the tournament is $6.
A $5 weekend pass is available to just see the bands. Itis good for all five performances.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Autism Society of Alabama.
The Gulf Breeze, Fla., High School is hosting the 17th annual Summer Classic Baseball Tournament on June 14-17.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the East Lawrence High School football program.

Prizes will be given to the top finishers, closest to the hole and longest drives. Mulligans and powerdrives are available. Hole sponsorships are $75 per hole. Hole-in-one prizes include $5,000 and a new truck.
