Tide staff to find tickets harder to get
From Staff Reports
Getting tickets for University of Alabama football games has become more difficult for school faculty and staff members.
A communication sent out Tuesday by the school said that it will rely on a priority system for faculty and staff members for the 2007 season.
According to the release, university employees submitted 9,300 ticket requests for the upcoming year with 4,500 spots to be allocated.
“All constituent groups have been impacted by this increased demand — including Tide Pride members, students and the general public — and UA is working hard to make sure tickets are available to as many fans as possible,” the release said.
Priority for tickets will be based on number of years at the school and other factors the statement said.
