Raines, Green win Burningtree WGA

Sue Raines and Tammi Green won the Burningtree Women's Golf Association's Invitational with an overall gross score of 73 on Thursday. Both received crystal bowls from Dillard's. The two golfers beat out a field of 80 competitors.

"We had a great field and a beautiful day," said tournament official Norma Looney. "We couldn't ask for anything more."

Overall net winners with a 61: Bobbie Perrin and Courtney Perrin

First flight gross 79: Jan Webb and Peggy Pfaff

First flight net 69: Jan Berry and Sharon Myers

Second flight gross 83: Betty Byars and Pam Jefferies

Second flight net 67: Nancy Darcy and Junghee Novell

Third flight gross 89: Bobbie Gordon and Donna Leonard

Third flight net 67: Shirley Hammons and Juyne Taylor

Fourth flight gross 93: Delores Teague and Carol Davis
