Weeks, Reese lead Dixie Senior by 2

Danny Weeks and Don Reese each carded seven-under par rounds of 65 to lead the Dixie PGA Senior Championship, sponsored by Page & Tuttle at Point Mallard Golf Course.
A resident of Freeport, Fla., Reese is a former college all-American who played on Troy State’s national championship teams in 1976 and 1977.
Two years ago, Reese played full-time on the PGA’s Champions Tour.
Bob Boyle is alone in third place two strokes back.
Former Burningtree and Decatur Country Club pro Mike Parrish is tied in fourth with Jack Seltzer at 70.
In the 58-64 age division, Buddy Whitten leads at 71, followed by Point Mallard Club Pro Charlie Krenkel and Steve Lyles at 73. Chip Enlow and Nick Gettys each had rounds of 75 to lead the 65-over age division.
Four players will qualify for the PGA Senior National Championship at the conclusion of Tuesday’s final round.
