Four games into the season, Elkmont High already has matched its win total from a year ago.
Under first-year head coach Don Jacobs, Elkmont scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns to beat West Limestone 24-7 at home Friday.
Elkmont improved to 3-1 after finishing last season 3-7.
Against West Limestone, Elkmont led 10-7 heading into the final period. David Solomon then returned a fumble 10 yards for a touchdown, and Joshua McWilliams followed with his second touchdown of the night with a 29-yard scoring run.
Brandon Solomon made three extra points and a 20-yard field goal.

Vinemont 21, Danville 18: Levi George rushed for 184 yards on 32 carries and scored two touchdowns, but it wasn't enough for the Hawks as their fourth-quarter rally fell short.
Danville (0-4) entered the final period down 21-10. But George scored on a 49-yard run, and Jason Kilgore caught a 2-point pass from Tyler Beck to make it 21-18.

Vinemont's Eli Harris scored two touchdowns on runs of 3 and 59 yards.
