Athens Bible outlast Elkmont in 5 games

Athens Bible rallied to beat Elkmont 19-25, 18-25, 25-18, 25-22, 15-10 in high school volleyball action Thursday.

Christina Ivey led ABS (28-2) with 30 kills, while Abbie Melvin had 27. Hannah Owen had 35 assists, and Athena Hinkle contributed 25.

Katie Eubanks led with seven digs.

Makayla Melvin and Mary Ellen Coleman each had six.

Hatton wins: Kaitlyn Fleming had nine kills to help lift Hatton over East Lawrence 25-10, 25-18, 25-21.

Chloe Malone added six kills. Tamra Terry had a team-high 25 assists

Fleming and Erin Shelton each had four digs.
